This program is free. It can boost your PC by relief on RAM. It also contains FPS meter, Screenshots and Video recording.

What is your question about?

i think purge uses xsplit, it saves videos as a flv file and that's way more economic then fraps.

And it also costs money. Do you need such (yes and really good) program only for fun usage? I don't know for what usage ElectricEye needs that program but I suppose it will not be on the same purpose like Purge needs to for example. I would recommend free program then.. But it's on user. It's only my opinion though.

Fraps recordings are huge because they're raw, unprocessed video/sound files. You have to edit them with something like Sony Vegas to get them down to an actual file size. 50-100 GB of video footage goes down to less than 10 GB easily.

i use bandicam. The average file size of a 1 min video is 50 - 70mb, though the quality is not as good as fraps.

check out my videos here http://www.youtube.c...low=grid&view=0
all of em are bandicam vids

Dxtory is free and it works. PLUS You can use a codec to reduce size for a hit of quality or just leave it normal and use a video editor to reduce size.

Dxtory also can utlize 2 HDD's to speed up AND you can split the audio such as Your mic and game sound can be split into two different sound files so you can reduce your mic and raise game sound etc etc.
