I watched SUNSfan stream and damn that gameplay was fast paced like no delay he clicks for the hero to go somewhere and the hero goes there instantly. not like at my case there is some delay.its all slow in my case where in sunsfans it was fast and smooth if its the right word.Help pls how can i make my dota faster? i have normal 40 fps. if i lower down the graphics i get like 100 fps. but its the same again. its just a little bit faster. not like sunsfan and plus he has the max settings.

Things tend to look smoother on stream though, keep that in mind. Hows your latency? That could play a huge factor.

Then there's probably nothing you can do. It probably looks to run smooth, but it's not natural. I have the same thing, and my comp runs this game well beyond it's requirements.

Well, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with anything but on my laptop when I play Dota 2, the game looks exactly as you'd expect it to look, all settings are on high and I get a solid FPS. The laptop has far better specs than the game's requirements. On my PC though I'm using a Samsung monitor, and it makes everything look really smooth and pretty.

I don´t think it is connection but it might be problem either on side of PCs HW/SW or bad mouse with input lag.

Possible reason is the internet.
Internet makes many things worse then they are.
Try to get a new Internet or try to polish the old one.

Yeah stop jokin.
1. Internet
2. Hardware/Pc
3. Hardware/Mouse/Keyboard

especially attention!

You looked at SUNSfans stream!!
He streams in 100fps or something like this.(there was some talk on reddit I think about SUNSfans stream)
It's much smoother then other streams.
And even smoother then in the real game itself.
SUNSfan is like Chuck Norris without superstrength.
He can make things look nicer even without doing something.
Any non-usefull comment on grammar/spelling is thankfully not wellcome

Could also be worth noting that your monitor may also be at fault. If your monitor is using ancient inputs (VGA/DVI) instead of newer more awesome stuff (DP/HDMI), and the monitor has a low refresh rate, the game itself may look like it's stuttering more than what you see through SUNSfans videos.

I got a relative "old" flatscreen Monitor from Acer it's 3 to 4 years old and I'm not having trouble despite it having VGA or DVI all seems to be pretty smooth and such.

But I think if he got a non-flatscreen, the old tanks with glass and such then I could be the problem

Probably not, old CRTs produce smoother images on whole. That's why SNES/NES/ATARI/<insert old machine> always look better on old fluorescent bulb TVs. :-)

Your monitor could be better than you think ;)

Okay, First of all, Two questions again...

1.Is this your internet acting up?
2.Is this your computer acting up?

If we're talking about FPS and High maximum graphics then all you need to do, is muster up some money, get these specs okay?... Hold on... Let me get this list of mine..

Motherboard: ASUS M4A79T Deluxe
Procie: AMD Phenom II X4 945 (3 GHz) quad core
RAM: 6 GB DDR3 1333 Mhz
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 5970
Hard Disk: Seagate 1 Tb
CPU cooler: Cooler Master V8
CPU case: Cooler Master HAF 932
Power Supply: Cooler Master 1000W SilentPro

LCD: Samsung 22"
Keyboard: Logitech G15 (illuminated keyboard)
Mouse: Logitech G9x
Headset: Medusa NX 5.1 headset

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

You can just count out the Mouse, Keyboad, Headset and even LCD...

That will definitely give you high FPS-es.. Buuut, you can go for semi-old Proccessor and Vcard like some 2009 nVidia Vcards can run the game smoothly..
